Desensitising, demystifying and encouraging people to access information about human rights was a key part of the brief from the Human Rights Commission to Tin Soldier. The result is a website which is simple to use and presents the facts (and legal details) in a user-friendly, relaxed format. It also accommodates the principles of the New Zealand Government Web Usability Standards, such as the ability to increase the site text size.
